Quick question, those of you who have the mesh grille fitted..... is the SP badge metal or plastic ? I was under the impression it was metal.

Reason for asking is that the monkeys who fitted my grille forgot to put it on, I have now chased them for a replacement - and they have provided me with a cheesy plastic one (which I am sure goes on the side panel when a car gets the full SP treatment) Oh - and I know I have to take the bumper off to fir the badge, so that rules my sticky-backed plastic one out aswell.

Rob, again I have to thank you. One of these days I'll be able to do you a favour. SP badge received and will hopefully be fitted this weekend (depending on whether or not I am brave enough to take the bumper off.....!)

I owe you (another ) one !! many thanks.

WOW ! It's taken 2.5 hours but I've fitted the SP badge.

Checked what you said about being able to fit it without removing the bumper....that just wasn't going to happen so after losing my temper trying to get the nuts tightened I decided to remove the front of the car !

The badge is now securely fitted, the bumper and other trim back on and I've take a few pictures SO - if anyone has the need to remove the front of their car, I can provide you with instructions. All in all, about an hour to get the lot off (most of it trying to work out where bolts were and how to get to them) and about 20mins putting it back on.

My other half now thinks I am completely insane. Perhaps she's right (dribble)

If anyone does want the info, drop me a mail.
