The dealer had the car for 1 week why i was away in Corfu to fix the faulty oil senser.
Came back i went to the dealer to pick the car up and it was still not working (keep getting different readings, sometimes no oil sometimes to much) dealer then tells me that Peugeot have came back to him with a different senser and i had to wait 2 weeks for the part.
I was not happy but ok i waited for the part to come in.
In the mean time the roof started to have a mind of its own again (some times it would work and some times it would not) went back to the dealer and he said he would deal with this AGAIN when they do the oil senser.
Well car went in on Wendesday AM and i got a call from the dealer late Wendesday to say all was ok and the work had been done and the they would return the car on Thursday.
It got to Late Friday still no call still no car, i then call the dealer and the :mfight: tells me that he has gone to France for the weekend and that my car is still at the other site awaiting a part, by this time i am  off and have told them that i want to reject the car, and that they will not be getting there car back untill someone from managment calls me to talk about what has been going on with my car.
I get a call just as i am going home from work from management to say thay will give me a new car and that there is no need for me to go through the rejection because of all the faults i have had with the car.

The problem now is that they dont make the ALLURE any more and i have a personal plate on the car that has 53 in it.
Does anyone know if i can claim for the cost of the plate,
and which 206cc model has the same spec as the Allure?
I am thinking of just asking for my money back, does anyone know if i should get a full refund?
The car and i am now being delt with by the other site were the car is now and he is going to call me on Monday with what cars he has in stock.

my car was 79 days old when rejected.

paid a £300 contributions for it which was reasonable as i got a near new 307 2.0GLX for 5 weeks while i waited on replacement, also got 02 instead of 51 reg.

due to my persistence at one point in negotiations i was also offered a full refund if i left the courtesy car that i had at that point there and then. refused this as refund was via cheque and would take a few days to clear - this was unacceptable to myself as i had paid for the car upfront without them needing to wait on payment to clear.

replacement was supplied including modifications of sp mesh grille and wheel arch extensions as per original car.

equivalent of your car is an SE but i wouldn't expect them to give you that due to price difference unless you paid the difference.

i was happy with the deal i got as i had a courtesy car at their expense for 36 of the 79 days i owned the car before rejection plus the 307 for the 5 weeks which meant i got 2.5k miles free use (apart from £300 payment) of the original car plus 2000 miles in courtesy cars plus 1700 miles in the 307 which meant i had a new car without in excess of 6k miles which i would have done if i had owned the original car.

good luck with whatever happens :D

Many thanks for the information
The courtesy car i have at this time is a 307 hdi, nice car but i miss the 206cc. I will not be letting them leaving me with out a car or be charging me for the use of one.
I was thinking of asking for my 206cc back (which as alot of my bits and bobs still in the car CD's etc) untill they have the replacement 206cc and will be asking for the new 206cc to have the same spec as my 206cc. (allure)
As for the number plate i will try to get the most out of them.

Going to see the pug sales manager on friday about the new car.
I have noticed that to bring a 1.6s up to an Allure is an additional £1000 (adding the leather pack).
I will keep you posted

Seen the new dealer and should have the new 04 206cc 1.6s with the same spec as my Allure within 2 weeks.
Had a problem with the retention of my personal plate as they wanted me to do all the paper work and pay for the retention and then claim the money back.
I ponted out that if the car was not faulty in the first i would not have the change the plate over.
He than came around and they now are going to do the paper work and the cost for the retention of the number plate.
Fingers crossed all will be completed and on time.

Picked the car up today from the dealer all seems ok.
The tank had only a little petrol in and the light came on when driving to work so i called the dealer and he said to send him the recept for a tank of petrol and he will forward the cost on to me, he said it should have been filled up this morning.
