hi there guys....

i just joined today and thought i'd come and introduce myself.

my name is dom and i live just outside birmingham. i have my heart set on buying a 2.0cc and hope to complete a sale in the next 6 weeks. that would be the reason for me joining here.

i have some things i want for my car but i also seek advice and who better to ask than owners!! - firstly which topic would be best to post a question on things to beware of when buying a cc? i can take the rest from there!

so glad to be here and i'm sure i'll speak to some of you soon.

beware of ones with a knackered roof like mine - in general they are ok

Welcome to the forum

If your looking to buy cheaper accesories, windbreakers etc have a look in the stuff for sale forum or post a thread in the wanted section.

If its advice about what to look out for try searching the problem forums. If its a 2nd hand CC your interested in make sure you check the roof and electrics work OK .

i think there are still a few 20G CC ones around but obviously none with a P

Hey, Derek, with your car probs wouldn't D6G CC have been better..its up for grabs on DVLA...
