West London Help!

Can anyone help me in finding a place who specialises in installing speakers, amp, subs and headunit into the 206cc??

I've totally had enough now of the standard stereo and speakers and need to change them!
I've got my own Sony headunit, 2x12 inch subs, amp and 2x 6x9's.
I would preferably wanna have them all back in my car, but haven't a clue where to start and rather me do it and then f**k it up, might aswell let someone do it who knows what they're doing!!

I brought my Alpine Sub (with built in amp) from Denmax car audio, here is a link to their website http://www.denmax.co.uk. They are great at giving advice and they install for around Â£50.00.

Not sure about the installation for the 6x9`s but give `em a ring to find out.

I can't help you on a location, but I suggest you decide how your car should sound rather than where to put your existing stuff.

Firstly, if you need to use your back seats then you won't fit the 6x9s in anywhere at all. I think that toot on this forum had some kind of platform built over the back seats and put his 6x9s in there but you won't be able to carry any back seat passengers round with you.

Also I doubt you'd get two 12" subs in the boot unless you have a custom built enclosure for the speakers themselves - in which case you won't have any room in the boot for anything at all. Unless you want a really loud system, I'd stick with a single 10" which gives adequate sound but leaves you with plenty of boot space.

Personally I'd sell the subs & 6x9s and buy new components for the front and a single 10" sub for the boot. I would also ditch the Sony headunit and go for something like Kenwood or Alpine, but this is personal preference only.

My Alpine Sub is only an 8" I was having doubts about sound quality but once I installed it it worked great. Nice low end and punchy. Also still have loads of boot space!

I've just installed a 10" sub which gives MORE than enough bass and, as said earlier, leaves plenty of room in the boot. It's definately worth some consideration before you take the plunge!
