Hi all, could I have some info please because either I am going mad or my car is running colder than usual. I am sure that when fully warmed up the water temp was at 90 with the needle vertical. However lately mine is running at 80 sort of 11 o'clock position.
Could I have a few comparisons so I can hit the monkeys with it while i still have warranty.

many thanks.

Sorry forgot to mention I have a non-multiplexed 2.0.

Miner's a multiplex 2.0 and it seems to stay around the 90 mark all the time.
Cheers,
Michael

It sounds like the thermostat is stuck open and over cooling..
You may also notice that the interior heating is cooler than "normal"

Its a common problem. Had to change mine a few months ago.. Cost is about £10 for parts and about half a litre or fresh coolant..
Takes about 15 mins to change
