I was driving with the roof down today and wanted to lower the windows after coming off a dual carriageway. The passenger rear window would not go down!?
Within a few seconds it suddenly lowered!?

I remember others having this problem - anything recently??

Thanks
Julia

Morning Julia, had this problem once about six weeks ago, tried the button three times, nothing happened. The windows moved on the forth attempt and no problems since- strange eh?

ps. I'm sure my car's got a mind of it's own, might have to call it Herbie. Have you got a name yet for your car? - I'm sure Rob and Derek have.

Robbie.

Mine is a year old so old spec and no multiplexing (as far as I know)

I think mine has a mind of its own too. What with it stalling (just the once) and now the window jamming (just the once)

Must be a male car! ;)

Mine's not a multiplex either and its cut out twice in traffic once.

If yours is a male car tell it how good its performance is (no more window probs!).

My drivers window seems to have a mind of it's own. It works eventually, but always keeps me on my guard. Occasionally my rear passenger window will not move either.
A friendly Peugeot quirk.

It seems to be an occasional problem. Do you think the car is hormonal???
Again I have had problems with my rear windows. Seems to work after a few attempts at the button though. (and a few beep words!)
Also I hate to add that my car was playing up the other day. Started it and it stalled, again it started and then stalled (lost revs) and it happened several times before eventually it was ok. I hadn't driven it for a week as I had been on holiday. Do you think it was having a tantrum for me neglecting it??? If thats the case it must be a male car ;) (JOKE!!!!)

My rear passenger window did that once and couldn't have been at a worse time - just as the Mexican roof wave was starting at Drayton Manor. It did go eventually - very weird!

Mine was the same Julia. I'd had the lurgy so hadn't ventured out for a few days. I looked outside one morning, saw it was sunny so thought I'd go out for a drive. Started the engine, it stalled and the engine management light came on. Definitely attention seeking, don't get any problems when I drive every day!

Yep, my Pug isn't multiplex and started the same window problem a few weeks ago and its happened since, I tried two or three times to lower it without success only to have to wait a minute before finally succeeding.

Its a little annoying as I have to turn my head round to check the state of the windows now just to be sure! Seems we've got an epedemic on our hands.

My car also refuses to start on the odd occasion until I try it several times - real spooky. :???:

I've put it down to being eccentric
cos its french.

Robbie.
