Fractured Hand

I'll be off the air for a little while. I fractured my hand and was in hospital yesterday getting it wired. No driving for about 4 weeks, and of course minimal typing. Worse still it's my left hand and that's the one I write with. How did I do it? Walking on the footpath and didn't see a dog water bowl in front of a shop. Tripped and broke the bowl and my knuckle when I punched the concrete. Nice idea for the dogs to be able to have a drink, but at the end of the day the footpath is for people. Needless to say my Solicitor has been well briefed.

I'll keep an eye on the forums, but will limit my active involvement for a little while.
Cheers

Frosty, it was your Avatar! Gave you bad luck especially with all those "rods/wires"!! Hope you recover soon and that you sue the shirt off that dog too!!!!!

In the meantime, i guess it's free reign on the Aussie section!!

Thanks Huu. No, I didn't have to pay for the bowl but I offered! Didn't realise I was so hurt unti I went to the hospital the next day.

Roof off days for me are over for this season. 3-4 weeks more in a sling & guarantee Melbourne weather will be nasty by then. It's so strange to see the car in the driveway and not be able to drive it.

Thanks for the kind thoughts
Cheers
