I got the deal as the main sales chap was a new trainee ages ago for my friend and also becuase they wanted to get rid of it by end of the month for their sales figures.

I think I got a good deal on mine. Paid £15'100 for an 04 reg 2.0 Allure with full set of luxury mats as the standard ones that should have come with the Allure weren't there.

Well I think it was a good deal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's not bad for a 2.0 one is it? I thought the list price was meant to be c£15,995.

I didn't think it was a bad deal at all. The guy was gr8 actually, my mum had bought a brand new 106 last year and he remembered me when I went in...in fact he even sent my mum £50 chq for referring me !!!!!!

The chip in the paintwork that was there when I collected my car is going to be sorted next Tuesday (this is me delaying cos I've not been able to get in and see them before now) and the bodyshop manager and the salesman I saw couldn't have been more helpful today. The salesman has even offered to take me home himself when I drop the car off next Monday evening.

Fingers crossed it'll look like brand new, though am a little scared after having read nightmare stories on here about the :mfight: as they're called !!!!!!!! I went to Chipsaway to get their input on how the damage may have been caused as the sales manager at Peugeot had almost accused me of doing the damage so I mentioned this when I went in this afternoon, but there was no arguement from the bodyshop manager, in fact he was "normal", not smarmy and very polite.

Time will tell.

Be careful they don't end up respraying a panel because that will devalue the car. Happened to car I just traded in, even though it hadn't been in an accident it had had a respray for touch up - done by Peugeot, they pointed it out at time of trade in, then they said they wouldn't touch it.
