Just close the roof, wind up the window and turn up the CD!!!! Then you're no different to driving a 180 around.
I wouldn't give up the joy of open top driving just because of a few hoons!
Unless you're after the 180's power and handling, I think you're only a button and two hooks away from the "safety" of a non CC!!

But the best part of the CC is having the roof down, putting it up is not what i would want to do on a nice day cos of some nutters leaning in your car thinking they could possibly have a chance of pulling you!!!!!!!
I'm taking the GTi for a test drive next weekend so will see how it handles first before i make the decision.

Yeah,
1. The speed of course
2. Handling is much better
3. More room in the back
4. More equipment CD autochanger, folding minors ect...
5. Thiers not any 180 around. Well not where i live
6. Built qualitey seem to be much better and i had no problems with it so
far compared with my cc
If your peugeot dealer tell you that there is a long waiting list for them, tell them you will not wait that long for one and they should get you one quicker. Cause i went to my local dealer in the beinging of Jan to order a 206GTi 180 and they told me end of March, so i went up a dealer in Manchester and told them i was not going to wait that long for one, they said could get me one for mid Feb plus i got a much better deal.
Hope that helps

I test drove a GTI 180 a couple of weeks ago, I thought it was great, hubby didn't like it though, (he is used to a Scooby). I love my CC too much though, if they did a CC with the engine, gearbox and seats from a 180 then I would deffo get one.
Ifelt like
that when I was driving it! I think I scared the bloke who came with us (under 25 so dealer had to come)
