Just bought one of these OBD Cable

It means no more payin peugeot Cash to clear the "K" Light, when their ECU software is so Crap..
Ya can Look at the faults or not as the case may be, Reset The "K" light, Monitor Engine Parameters live.. etc etc Nice! 8) and it works Well

Hey, now that looks like the mutts nuts.

Having never seen the monkeys at work (and not having owned a car with a computer in it before!) I haven't seen a car 'plugged in'.

Do the monkeys use a normal PC/laptop or is it connected to some big diagnostics machine?

Does this cable potentially give you the same abilities (should you be able to get hold of the Peugeot software or have the tekky skills to amend it yourself) to interface with the car's computer as the Monkeys? Or does this give you 'read only' abilties?

hi there

i have seen them use this on my car, they plug in a laptop that basically then lets them control the car and adjust anything from the radio to lights to engine performance.

technology these days but for the better, i am not sure!!!

OK, so question number 2- if this lead will connect your car to your PC/laptop, is it possible to get hold of a "copy" of the Peugeot software (and subsequent updates)?

Anyone know a Monkey?! ;)
