I've got a 03 Allure, it's got the metal type door strips that say Peugeot on them....
They're going a bit discoloured, can anybody recommend anything to get them looking nice again?
Anyone had the same probs?
I was gonna post this in the Cleaning section, but it doesn't seem to get as many replies as in here....
Feel free to move it bosses!
Thanking you
Sammy

These kickplates look like brushed stainless steel to me.
If that is the case, I'd recommend a product sold in Australia called "Gumption" - not sure if it's marketed in the UK under the same name, but basically its a domestic cream cleanser - same as you use on your bathroom sink, toilet, etc...
I use "Gumption" on the s/s cleats and handrails on my boat and they always come up a treat. Rust stains and scuffs come off without a prob.
None of the other products I used prior to this discovery seem to work half as well - even with twice the effort and usually at least twice the price !
Cheers,
Michael
