Does anyone else have the rear parking sensor fitted?
My wife has a Micra & the sensor is great, the one fitted in my 206CC beeps randomly and inspires little confidence.

I would disagree,

The CC has a very high boot line and things can easily disappear under it. Ask my wife about the fence pole at the MINI dealer!

Parking sensors were not an option when we bought 3 years and a day ago.

I have the sensors and I don't trust it, I have fitted a reversing camera and this is a lot more useful.

Was your sensor from peugeot? I believe that one is electromagentic, so it's a strip that fits inside the bumper, rather than ultrasonic sensors that need to be drilled into the bumper.

The electromagnetic sensors only work if the car is moving (which i suppose it usually is when reversing ) so it would stop beeping as soon as you stop the car.

I was thinking about putting one of these in our CC but i'm not sure if it's worth it. There's a model called the Taurus T123 which only costs £70 on the web.
