Ok, but you have the SLK (pricy too, I know), the Alpha Romeo (see other topic), and a concept car by Daihatsu (I believe it was that one), which will get into production.... are there any others???

Check out:

P.S. Lyndon, how do I make a web address like that be a link to the page instead of just text?

Wow, you're right that new Merc is beautiful.

Except it has only 2 seats, and its price here ranges from $290,000 to $360,000 (= £106,400 to £132,100) D'oh

I saw the lexus on the motorway today. Ugly looking thing, looks like a mutant cross between a Daihatsu and a Hyundai, with very little attitude!

Yep that merc SL really is a vision. When I was in Rivervale at Brighton I tried so real hard to avert my eyes from the monsterous beauty - and despite my feeble protests - I was shown round the car - oh bug*er!!

The curves, especially the flared wheel arches give it a real mean but graceful look - far more than pictures can ever show.
For those little boys like me that love gadgets, you'll love to see it in the metal.

The real show stopper is the new concept folding roof. The metal roof panels fold down but the rear window automatically pivots upwards and sidewards stowing away from the metal roof panels - to save boot space - very impressive.

There's even a button in the boot you press which lights up and tilts the stowed metal roof upwards in order to allow you to get your golf clubs in without having to raise the roof to do so.

Then of course you've also got the voice activated commands for the radio etc and the keyless entry with the car recognising a credit sized card kept in your pocket.

Oh, and the official waiting list extends to over three years at present for those interested.

Robbie.
