Well here's me off work with stress and having a nice relaxing ride when we came across some fly tipped bin bags at the side of the road. Well Rosie did the horsey equivalent of a hand brake turn without telling me and I ended up on the tarmac still holding the reins!! Woohoo!! She then panicked as I tried to keep hold so she dragged me across the road and when I finally had to let go she decided to trot off in a homeward direction. Boohoo!! I ran after her but lost her after a t junction just as a local farmer came to my rescue. He picked me up and we set off in hot pursuit only to come across Rosie quietly ambling home by this time on the left hand side of the road. We were eventually reunited and we rode home. No harm done apart from a couple of loose shoes. This is the first time in 14 years of having her that we have parted company on the road. Lets hope it is the last!!! My fault entirely for being too lax. Just goes to show you never can tell.
