Last weekend I found out 4 of my friends can't make it for a night out on my birthday - apparently going to Leeds is more important.

Last night my best mate told me it's her work do and she forgot when she put her name down.

Then upon getting to the pub 2 more mates told me they were babysitting (baby sitting...... for god sakes we're all twenty-somethings).

I (in vain hope) suggested they may all be planning a suprise party but they all told me not to cling to that hope

My birthday now looks like I'll be going to my best mates works Christmas do with a bunch of middle aged women.

Just wondering if anyone wants to fall madly in love with me and whisk me off to some romantic city for a slap up meal?

Nah...... thought not.

Derek I'm gonna be a grand old age of 27...... grey hair and everything!!! Booking myself for my blue rinse a week on Friday!!!
