Noticed when I jumped into my car this morning, passenger seat had few puddles of water  . I presume I take this to a dealer to sort out but my question is can I take it to any dealer or should I take it back to where I bought it?? Is it a big job to fix?? Will I have to leave the car?? So many questions!! :(

sounds like the (in)famous roof leak!
don't worry they r used to it now.. they'll sort it no problem
you can bring it to any peugeot dealer (I guess it's still under warranty)
you will probably need to leave it with them for at least a day
When I had mine done (last year this period actually) they had to order the new versions of the seal but since they changed it, not 1 drop!

Sept 03, its an allure...you would think it would have the new seals...I guess not! Maybe thats why they pushed the allure to get rid of all cc's in stock with faulty bits but make them look like a good deal by throwing in some extras??

 Oh dear...i'm surprised it too so long for the first leak. My last one leaked the first time it rained.

I've had my new one almost 2 months and I still keep checking (call it paranoia), although it's garaged so not sat in rain so much.

I have a new 53 plate allure and its been back to have the seals replaced, it has stoped the leak but now it needs to go in again because the new seal is over laping where the joint is at the door and the front window screen,
Why did my dealer no make sure this was sorted before delivering the car back to me?

Because your dealership, like so many others, are a bunch of useless :monkey: :monkey:

Just because you're paranoid, it don't mean they're not after you.

It seems that way, i had to drive the car back to my dealer and point out to him where the problem was after telling him in the morning and having to call him again because he did not get back to me about the problem and he now calls me today to arange for the car to go back in on Tues to be sent back for the work to be completed.
When i did get the car back on Sat i did not see (because of the rain) that the monkey who did the new seals had got mastic all on the roof. :x
The dealer said that it had not been cleaned because the little monkey who cleans the cars dont work on Sat, i think that it was a little monkey who fitted the new seals :!:
As anyone else had problems when getting their cars back?

After the first time, it still leaked exactly the same :x , but after the second time (when it stayed with the dealer for nearly two weeks), it was fixed. No mastic anywhere it shouldn't be though.

Hi everyone

Was unfortunate to experience the dreaded drivers side leak this morning on my 53 Reg Allure  the fortunate thing was that my hubby was driving the car at the time :D - everytime he breaked he got drenched! not a happy bunny as u can imagine!

Another visit to the dealer - seems as if the car has been with them more that it has been with me!!
