Just wondering if anyone had any advice on software etc as for some reason I thought I'd try and find out whether I'm a distant relative of royalty!!!!!
I'll get bored very soon but can't record what I've found out very easily!
Anyone ever done this family history malarke?!

Most reocrds you can get back to the 1066, but we managed to get back a bit further than that, so I'm proper english me
i just used paper though not any computer programmes. Theres also a compnay that will do it for you for a fee and you get quite alot of info in a nice leather bound book, and it will also list out all the distant relatives and their last known locations !
