Thinking of buying a cc. Do newer cars suffer less faults than older one's ? (leaks etc).
My wife is thinking of buying a 206cc and is concerned about leaking cars. Have Peugeot designed out the roof leaks on later cars or is there still a problem ? Any feedback would be useful and neither of us want to drown in one of these rather nice cars !

Well you might get new software, different rubber seal, different microswitches etc etc?? BUT new things new problems
you got to know that not every single one got problems, some people got a car without any problem what so ever, some have one after another reguardless of manufacturer (my boss got a merc S Class, memory seats dont keep memory, antiglare mirrors doesnt seem to antiglare, and air bag warning light turn on everytime he press the horn, and it cost almost as much as a house). Come down to it, if you like it buy it.

Had my car a whole 4 weeks now  and no problems yet
I've been lucky with new cars, i think you just have to be careful when buying used cars. try and find out why the person sold it in the first place and the dealer makes a differance too if your a regular customer you get looked after better.
PS just waiting for it to rain tho lol
to check the roof seals

If you buy new, YOU will experience any problem it could have (if any). However, if you buy an older CC, I would expect if it ever had a leaky roof, etc, it should've been fixed. Obviously there are pros and cons for both.Thinking of buying a cc. Do newer cars suffer less faults than older one's ? (leaks etc).
I had problems with my first one

Just buy it if you like it, had mine nearly 8 months and have had problems with squeaky brakes and the seals but it's sorted aside from the ongoing stereo issues.
But it's sooooooo worth it!!!
Buy it buy it buy it!

Go on, get one.
Just because you're paranoid, it don't mean they're not after you.
