Hi,
I've done 28k miles now and still on the 1st set of brake pads.
The monkey boys at Peugeot said they are fine ages ago at 20k, but how much longer do you think they'll last?
I have got through 2 sets of tyres already and do 'Boy Race' around at times but the brakes seem fine.
Regards,
Sherlock.
Brake Pads how many Miles per set?

Sounds like your clutch will go before your brake pads!
Just because you're paranoid, it don't mean they're not after you.

Well mine have done 13k and there's still loads of material left. In fact, looking at the discs, it seems that they'll wear out before the pads.

I've done 22k. Do you reckon it's time to change? And could that be the cause of my regular "oh sh!t I nearly didn't stop" incidents? I just put that down to the multiplex virus that's hit my brain, meaning that visual breaking signals take a second to register before the message gets to my feet and I hit the brake pedal
Hey Sherlock, can you do a poll? along the lines of "I've never changed my pads/I changed mine between 10-15k/15-20k/20-25k".
Or should I just pay £29 for Ferodo pads in halfords and get steve to fit them? The AA service centre wanted £83 to fit the pads which cost £29 in Halfords next door
And... will Ferodos eat my discs?

I'm sure this has been answered before on the forum but has anyone managed to get new pads fitted by Pug free of charge?

I've had my car for 22 months and a few months ago moaned about the squeal and they replaced them free of charge but was a long process for them to do it as I was fobbed off for the first year.
