My exhaust starting blowing last week end and it turns out that the back box had snapped away from the pipe that runs down to the other silencer.
To fix it, they (Kwik Fit) replaced the back box and middle sections of the exhaust.
The car is just coming up to its second birthday and has already had the manifold replaced twice.
Anyone had similar problems with the back box?

I did query this, but we thought the warranty on exhausts may only be 12 months (as it is on some other cars)?
My pug is a company car and the leasing company just told me to go to Kwik fit so I assume they will sort out any warranty recharges at a later date if appropriate.

The best bit is my wife is insured to drive it on L plates while she learns to drive and I also get to swap cars with the guy who sits opposite me at work - he has a company Elise
Before anyone asks I tried to put the L plates on the Elise but they are magnetic and so wouldn't stick to the Elise's body work

That flange is a weak spot on almost all Peugeot's.. Not covered under warranty..
The inner lip on the flange collects water and it rots from the inside...
Mine went, but I had a short stainless steel pipe made up that replaces the last 18" of the centre pipe where it mates with the back box.. Cost £40.00
