Swindon meet report - Julia stylee!

I will attempt a report in honour of CB but I doubt it will be any good!
BAD hangover is my excuse!

The meet was happening in 2 phases in Swindon.

- I was on route on the M4 when Liz called (was driving and didn't hear my phone) and left a message saying she had the flu :cry: (aww poor Liz)

- Michelle called me to say she was lost! :rolleyes: ;)

- Greg called me - no idea why (again I missed the call coz I had my music too loud!)

- Aimee text me to say - she was running late

- Riss text me saying she wasn't well either and will try and make phase 2!

- I managed to call or text everyone back (whilst on route still) :oops:
(As you can imagine - my phone bill trebles when we have meets!)

- Paul then called asking where I was!

- I was running late (hey whats new)!

- Turned up where Paul and Pauls other half Lisa were. No one else about!

- Aimee turned up

- Michelle and new boyf STILL lost!

- Eventually they found us and we headed to the Manor pub where Greenday Alex and Riss found us!

- 3pm came and we headed to Pizza Hut.

- Jason found us

-Greg called to say he had overslept :rolleyes:

- Pizza Hut cocked up the order YET again! So Aimee ended up with 2 pizzas to herself! (Hangover food!)

- Few of us went back to the Manor for more beverages!

- Aimee and I had a BLONDE moment! (shock horror)
I went to lock my car but it sounded like Aimees beeped when I locked mine. So Aimee was leaning over listening to her bonnet when I locked my car to try and work out where the sound was coming from!
I opened the car and checked all the windows were up, then tried again and the beeping still sounded like it was coming from Aimees car!
Alex then pointed out that my boot was open and the beep was in fact coming from my car! :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops:

- The girls left Alex and Greenday mucking about with their cars in the car park! :rolleyes: and went to have a cuppa at Riss's house.

- Riss - please ensure you tidy up next time we come round ;)
(Riss's house is spotless!)

- Then the rest is a big blurgh. As soon as Aimee and I got to her house we began on the wine! (Report on the other post!)

Thanks to all who made it - was good to see you again!

(Michelles boyfriend doesn't think we are internet geeks! yay!) He was talking to Riss and I at our end of the table in Pizza Hut so not sure about the rest of you ;)

Oh yes how could I forget...

Alex went via RAF Fairford which is MILES past Swindon!

I did give him directions but he obviously didn't take any notice!
Oh and don't you have GPS Alex!? :rolleyes:

Sorry i never came as well but as Riss said my gramp is ill after havin a liver op to get rid of a tumor to his liver so I was visiting him in Oxford :no:
The house is only tidy cause of me if it was upto Riss it would be a pigsty,
Anyway hope u all had a fab time see u all at the next one :D
