blaster worm virus

Did all the downloading and patching last night.
Anyway, It took a long time due to me having a dial-up and every once in a while my firewall asking me if I should permit a cookie (nad me not being there to say OK), the connection dropping off, and my virus scanner doing a full scan at the same time. I had left it running and gone outside, so hadn't realised it was running. Would have taken a lot less time if I had sat there with it and said OK at the relevant times. :rolleyes:
Anyway, during the course of the evening my firewall stopped nearly 1000 attempts to get onto my system.
Admittedly many of them were ads, but around 400 of them were trying to get at a port...

Sorry folks, this virus is getting the better of me. I have been patching our servers at work for 2 weeks solid. Left work this morning at 5am got less than 4 hours sleep and had to come in again - yes and you can guess where I am now
