Why do people buy CC's and not take the roof off when its nice?
I was driving to work this morning with my roof off (of course!) and I saw 2 CC's a blue and a green both with their roofs on. They also both had windows open so they werent enjoying the air con.
Why do people buy a Cab if they ain't gona deroof it! It ain't just CC owners either..
Saw two yesterday in Swindon when it was frickin 30 degrees
I have mine down all the time.. Winter-Summer.. as long as it ain't too wet

I have to confess to having my roof up in the heat of Saturday due to the fact i was in Reading (not where i live or where i was going) then found out my brake lights were stuck on so in the panic of needing to get them fixed before i caused an acciddent didn't put the roof down until it was sorted and i was calm again. So if anyone noticed on Saturday a black CC around Reading with the brake lights stuck on and the roof up when it was stupidly hot outside that was me

i had my roof up last weekend, went to lake district camping, could not put the roof down as boot was full!, this may well be why you see so many cc's with roof up

I saw 3 CC's on my way into work today, a black, a red & a silver, and none of them had their roofs off.
It was 21 degrees and very sunny.
I was lovely and cool in mine with the roof off of course
I had 10 bags of mortar in the boot last week - couldn't take it out in case it went off in the rain and so couldn't have the roof down either. Everyone thought I had had the suspension lowered - cheap at £2.40 a bag! and it was fully adjustable i.e. take a bag out!
Guys i gotta agree with Col on this one. Sometimes i find after cruising with the top down and the sun blazin down on you, i land up feeling very drained when i reach my destination(especially to and from work) . Its almost as if the sun just zaps your energy right out of the roof.

It zapps your energy on the way to work, but then gives it back on the way home.

Thanks ice dcotor, but i don't think the sun n the north east of england can be compared to your lovely blazing hot sun. Our sun is a bit piddly and weak, anything about 16degrees is too hot up here. So you can imagine me dying of sun stroke if i lived in SA.
