Are you mad?
The RX-8's engine is what makes it. Imagine a car with 240bhp, a light flywheel, and the amount of reciprocating (in this case rotating) mass of a 1.3. How smooth is that going to be? With a nice light flywheel that's going to be up and down the revs like nobody's business.

Maybe I'm just a sucker for cars with out-of-the-ordinary engine configurations.

And what do you mean by "Doesn't have great performance"? How slow do you think a car that weighs about 50kg more than a CC, and has nearly twice as much power, is going to be? I think if you get the RX8 you will find the power 'sufficient' ;)

Remember the 350Z is heavier as well.

well you are not the only sucker for cars :P because i'm too

Well if to Rotary can be faster after putting the light flywheel. Why can't the 350Z?

And Of course i understand by the power to weight system and 350Z has almost 10 KW more than RX8.

The Kick Down acceleration is also another issue as well.

No, I don't mean it's just got a light flywheel. I mean I guess that the flywheel will be light as the amount of metal being shoved around in the engine is light.

You've got a car with an engine that produces a lot of power, but the engine (and more importantly the rotating bits) probably weigh less than an A-series 8)

Consider this: I have a 218bhp Impreza. There's not enough difference between that and a 276bhp Jap-import Impreza to make me buy one. It looks like a big power difference, but once you get to 0-60 times that are in the sixes and fives you need a lot more power to make it better.

I haven't actually sat in one, but I get the impression that the rear seats in the RX8 are bigger than those in the CC. Access is obviously better with those 'suicide' doors at the rear, too.

yes i have sat on them and they are quiet comfortable. But once you close the suicide door. You'll feel like sitting inside a box. i suppose it's ok :)
