Can I just say that having followed hunting on foot on more than one occasion:

1. A fit and well fox will outwit a pack of hounds anyday!

2. If hunting in this country stops then the fox population will plummet.

3. It's amazing how many 3 legged, ill, old and infirm foxes are caught. The fit ones usually aren't.

So if survival of the fittest is true then hunting is actually strengthening the population of foxes!

P.S. I think old ladies who keep animals and let them get fat is far worse!! So ban old ladies and anyone else with fat animals from keeping them!!!!
