I finally got my hands on a 307cc to try and now I am worried. The roof seals (accross the car) rattle more than my 206, the seat didn't latch properly after tilting to let someone in the back and guess what the brakes were squeaking too. All on a 800 miler. Maybe my order will wait.

Other than that, ok though? :)

My 206 is a March car, only thing wrong was the air-con which leaked its gas and the electric fan which rubbed on a pipe, both sorted very quickly by the local dealer. Other than that it's perfect. I've resisted saying so up until now for fear of things going wrong :(

I guess once the 307cc has been out a couple of years it'll be ironed out too?

It's a much more composed ride over uneven surfaces but did not seem as sharp on corners/roundabouts but these are probably due to the increase in size. You can definately use the rear seats more but unless the fronts seats are forward 6ft ers will struggle. This meant for me it would be a 3 adult seater. I know things will iron out but it seems they havn't learnt enough from the 206.

I recall reading the 207cc will have 10cm longer wheelbase to get more legroom in the back.

I'm intrigued to see how the 307cc looks, the roof section that needs to go in the boot must be massive!

All my previous cars were 5 door with large boots or hatches but the use was so infrequent and since I've had the 206cc I haven't missed the load or passenger ability. I bought the car for me, not to carry others around in :)

Yep the roof section is big, I dont like the styling of the boot lid it has a crease one third towards the back end but looks unfinished/ran out of ideas. All of the friends who saw it noted the style of car did not suit the size and that the 206 looked nicer. The interior is the best part much better.

there's no way i would get a 307CC the now after being a victim of the junk that they churned out earlier in the CC's life - will wait and find out the problems first.

will need to get a test drive when i get time but your report doesn't make it sound that good.

i'm more thinking of the 180bhp model and at an estimated price of £20k if it isn't very good i'll be buying something else.

Yep that was my final thoughts. Let Peugeot release them and wait for the 180 version by then early problems will be solved. (Hopefully)
