some of you may know that my roof sprung a oil leak about 2 weeks took it in to the useless people at dixons of mansfield to let them have a look, look they did and said they need a part (which is on here in the problems/roof section) plus a new grab handle which they broke while finding out what was wrong :( :( :( :(

got a letter from them on saturday saying my parts were in, nipped down to them same day and got it booked in for tuesday (today), bit quick for them i thought , so 8.15am i dropped me car off but b4 i handed over my keys i ask, just to make sure, they have the parts needed, the service guy looks through the notes and says that only the grab handle as been ordered, they'd need the car again to look at what part needed replacing WTF

even more p1ssed off i said thats bloody useless you had the car two weeks ago and i've seen the work sheet which clearly says that 2 parts have to be ordered  , he looks through the papers and there it is in black and white that 2 PARTS are needed, no one clearly talks to each other down there !!!!!!!

i took me car back with me to work after losing a hour (£10+ per hour) they are now gonna ring me when the parts in again, very unlikely coz they almost never ring me, so it looks like a meeting yet again with the head bloke at dixon's of mansfield to tell him what i think of his staff and the service they DON'T provide

BTW do you think when they said parts they mean 1 grab handle and 2 bolts

well p1ssed off  - rant over

Cheers

Well I would never go there if in the area then..
They dont realise about stuff like that and how many people an angry customer will tell, we had a similar problem when we had a Mondeo but thats a different story...

i went in to dixons of mansfield this morning again, to complain about their lack of customer service :D

spoke to the parts person and he said the part had been ordered and WAS in stock on friday the 4th july WTF,thats why they sent me the letter saying the parts were in , so why the !"£$%^& didn't the service guy know anything about it, c'mon, they only sit about 3' apart at their desks  .

told the manager about their crap service and i'm sick of keep telling him about it !!!!!!!!!!

it's now booked in for monday,to do this they've cancelled someones elses service slot, so they'll be pissed off too. they are even sending a man out to take my car in and bring it back at first i refused saying 'if you can't even get your employs to talk/work with each other i don't trust them with my car!!!!!! ' but i did give in after i found out that it's a old chap about 65  plus they are gonna give it clean inside and out FOC for their fuck up,they had better not scratch/dent it

so here's hoping it's fixed for monday and yes of course it's about 30 degrees and blazing sunshine outside

wot the :censored: is going on down at dixons of mansfield, they picked the car up at 9.30am, great they at least got something right, got a phone call at around 3.30pm to be told that the car won't be finished today the lousy :censored: :censored: useless :censored: idiotic bunch of :censored:

they have now said that the part they have got is correct but one of the oil pipes that came with it was wrong    so they have ordered it V.O.R (vehicle off road) so it should be here 2moro morning and it'll take another 2 hours at least :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: if they can get the other part this quick why the :censored: didn't they order this part in the first place

they have kept the car as it's still in bits, i guess and if it wasn't i didn't see the point in them bringing it back only for them to come and collect it again 2moro.

**rant over**.............. not unless they :censored: something else up
