borrowed 12k for mine ,but getting rid of it soon - borrowing another 10 k for a golf r32 , equity is a wonderful thing
it's wonderful until house prices drop :o

i have £23k equity and another £17k i could get together but i wouldn't go out and buy a car with it.

add that to what my CC is worth and i could have a lexus convertible

Type R's are u.g.l.y.
Why do you need a hot hatch? If you want something fast and fun get a motorbike! I recommend the Suzuki SV1000. And if you buy it from George Whites in Swindon, I may be able to help you get a better deal ;)

My mates selling a Golf VR6 on an 'R' plate. Goes like stink...fuel economy not great but I reckon an offer in the region of 7-8k will secure it ;) Its bloody fast!

But the RS's road handling is about 10 times better then of the R32.
The scoob STi is fastest in 0-60, then the 147 GTA, followed by the Golf and RS.
I allmost doubted between a 147 GTA and an RS before the CC.
went for the convertible. If not, then i think i t would have been the GTA. fast, normal and luxurious in comparison with the others.

The other night i started a bit of a race with a 147 finaly i overtook him doing 137 thought that was it then he overtook me again bloody fast and i saw the GTA sign reflecting in my headlights... thought i'd better give up then...

(no sig this time  )
