Ok my turn now to set a quiz for you lot that seem to like them!
(Lets see Duncan come out the woodwork!)

How long did the Hundred Years War last?
116 years

Which country makes Panama hats?
Ecuador originally (I think) although Costa Rica seems familiar too??

From which animal do we get catgut?
sheep? or horses?

In which month do Russians celebrate the October Revolution?
Easy! November

What is a camel's hair brush made of?
Most kinds of natural animal hair - Camel is the geezer who invented it i think?

The Canary Islands are named after what animal?
Named after the latin word for "Dog" (Caneraes? Canares?)

What was King George VI's first name?
Albert - easy one that ;)

What color is a purple finch?
No idea....orange? Red?

Where are Chinese gooseberries from?
As Aimee points out they are known as Kiwi fruit, named after the national bird of New Zealand, but they also grow in loads of other places around the world too

How long did the Thirty Years War last?
Hmm...by my recollection it was 30 years, but all the other questions are "trick" so maybe not.... :|
