but no the hundered years war did not last 100 years

chinese gooseberries aint from china.......

i wont ruin it by giving all the answers......... just for the record chinese gooseberries is what we know as the kiwi fruit

Ecuador originally (I think) although Costa Rica seems familiar too??

Most kinds of natural animal hair - Camel is the geezer who invented it i think?

The Canary Islands are named after what animal?
Named after the latin word for "Dog" (Caneraes? Canares?)

What was King George VI's first name?
Albert - easy one that

What color is a purple finch?
No idea....orange? Red?

Where are Chinese gooseberries from?
As Aimee points out they are known as Kiwi fruit, named after the national bird of New Zealand, but they also grow in loads of other places around the world too

Hmm...by my recollection it was 30 years, but all the other questions are "trick" so maybe not....
