near me there's a '51' 1.6 no alloys 'silver' on a dealer forecourt for £12,295 not sure of the mileage, so your CC does seem a little cheap :?

That does seem a bit low, but remember that it is trade-in. You'll get much more if you sold privately (my 52 plate non-import se with 11k went for 13500 and that was to a garage)

imports were made at the same factory but by workers on the training scheme so are worth less :P

Parkers say £11250 for average (10000) miles still you should be able to sqeeze a little more R32 or not. You don't have to buy from them if its the difference between a sale or no sale.

I didn't really want the hassle of a private sale so if anyone has got any other ideas ?/ details

What I would do is 2 weeks before you're actually ready to sell put it in Autotrader online for a ridiculous price - it only costs 10 quid or so. I put mine in for 14k and was surprised when an hour later I got a call from someone who later offered me 13000. Needless to say I didn't refuse, although I did have a hairy weekend trying to find money and a new car as I wasn't really ready to sell!!! If you don't get any interest then put an ad in online & the paper for about 12500k and be prepared to be talked down to 11500k.

To be honest though, 11k for a 2nd hand import is fairly good for trade-in, and for the hassle i'd just go for that.

edited - didn' read post properly!!!![/i]

An import will be worth less than a Uk spec car, but try the trick in the paper always ask for more as they will knock you down any way so always put it up higher
