Hiya ppl,long time no see!

Hope you all are having a lovely summer, allthough i've heard that you've got the same crappy weather in the UK as we are having atm here in Sweden.

I've got a problem with my baby ; when i'm driving with the roof up the "alarm" sound goes off from time to time, the same one that goes off when driving too fast whilst taking the roof down/up as your driving.
The only way i can make it quit is too take the roof off and then on again.

I went too my dealer and he said something about the safetyhinges(?) for the roof on the bootlid (<- is that even a word in english?)
He had to order them for me so I don't know for how long I have to wait for it to get fixed.

Has anyone of you all had the same problem,is there any easier way to make it stop if it goes off again which I'm sure it will?

Anyways,have a wonderful summer ppl!
cheers
/C

I had this once....

Open the boot and towards the back left and right corners of the bootlid there should be white coloured hooks (with springs attached to them - sorry no idea what the technical term for these is!) Check that both hooks are securely in place around the "thing" they are supposed to be hooked on to.

Sorry that was an absolutely cr*p description but if you open the boot and look at the white hinges and at least check they are both in the same position you should get an idea of what I am talking about.
