Hi all,
Couple of links to pics of mine since lowered.
Its only a 35mm drop on eibach spring (the best) and just 1 notch on the torsion bar. Personally don't think that for performance gains any lower is needed or possibly wise.
BTW my wheels are only 17" too.

Ride is if anything marginally better than standard. Slightly stiffer but reduced bodyroll. It doesn't fell like a boy racer "bad back special!". Which it shouldn't as its not been done to achieve that
I can't go too low/stiff on the suspension as I live out in the sticks and drive a lot of backroads etc. This is fine.
Personally like it a lot and the car now looks like it should have when Peugeot made it.
I can't imagine that much lower would be practical for everyday though.

Hi guys
I apologise in advance for any noob questions.
I would like to lower my Pug as well, how do i go about this? You mention Eibach springs are these just shorter springs on the original shocks or have you put in new shocks as well? I was on the Ecosse site and saw the various shocks but no mention of springs (apart from standard)
Thanks
Justin M

I've just done the suspension on my GTi.
Cost over £700 for the parts alone!!
21mm Peugeot Sport torsion bars (From France)
Eibach -30mm Pro Kit springs
Bilstein Sport dampers - very nice with internal bump stops and they are actually inverted like upside-down forks on motorbikes!!!!
It feels very nice compared to standard.
It's firm but never bumpy or crashy.
It handles much better than standard. It turns in much sharper.
A CC with the kit would make a bigger difference due to the CC being softer than a GTi.
I did the rear suspension myself. Actually quite easy. I paid £60 to get the front done because i didnt have time to do it myself!! removing the torsion bars and raising the arms allows you to get pretty much any height you want. It was actually quite an easy job to do as well.

thats the difference with the KW complete kit from what i know!!! It goes as far as 60mm drop and the car bumps like it has a 20mm drop....Practically no change in comfort but far better driving
The only prob is cost.....
its about 1300euros in greece.....a bit expensive no??

This is what has been done to the front.
EibacH Pro Kit springs with Bilstein Sport dampers.
The rear has Peugeot Sport 21mm torsion bars (the red bars you can see). The original torsion bars are 19.5mm so the new ones match the uprated front springs better. Also as you can see it has Bilstein Sport dampers at the back as well.
