Flaking Alloys

i know this should be in exterior but not so many ppl read that bit

......

noticed yesterday that at least 2 of my alloys are flaking at the back of the spokes (nimrods). i noticed it mainly as one of the spokes is flaking at the side too.

as the car is 15 months old is this still covered under warranty ?

advice appreciated before i attack the monkeys

autoglym clean wheels or whatever it's called mainly.

surely the finish shouldn't be flaking after only 15 months ????

some wheel cleaners are very acidic. ie wonder wheels is very strong and shoud be washed off well (i think). i would speak to pug. say that because the back of the wheels are affected it may spread to the front or something.

i will do that.

one of the spokes at the front has already spread to the side which is how i noticed it.
