 Put the roof down the other night and everything was fine - went out posing as you do, came back started the roof off to come back up it looked as though it was closing fine but it didn't do its final beep to say that everything was ok. Then i found that it hadn't closed enough to put the clips back on. There was a gap of about 10mm.

So I started it back up and it came back down fine. I haven't operated it since incase this happens again, have any of you had a similar thing happen? I know that I didn't take my finger off the button or anything so it wasn't that.

Help!!!

it could be a case of sticky microswitch , by that i mean in the boot there's loads of microswitches that tell the car where the roof is and where the boot lid is :D

it'll be best to take it in and let the monkies look at it, it may just need the switches greasing or summat.

sorry i couldn't be more helpful :(

Yes, it does sound very much like a micro switch problem.
