it's ok now Erm you got some attention now go and play quietly in the garden whilst the adults talk. I'll give you a call when it's time for your bickie, juice and afternoon nap.

This is in danger of turning into gang warfare.

What, exactly, is the problem in having two sites with common themes? More sites means more people. More people means more information & more "buying power"

If sites start competing against each other; users split into 2 camps. This only happens if the admins/moderators of the respective sites attack the other site or users. Instead, they should see it as a challenge to improve their own site if necessary.

Sure, going all out to say "come visit us and stop using them" is not on. Simply saying "Hey! Come see what we're doing" is harming nobody and will benefit both sites in the end.

Stephen has, in fact, actively promoted this site on his own forum for its wealth of knowledge on reported problems.

That's my $0.02 for today.

[quote=""Stephen T""]

we have had certain members come on to our board trying to cause trouble. :cry:

quote]

that certain member will be moi i guess :D

but then if u visit a site and make a genuine post then have a member call u a f****** retard for no reason other than not being bright enough to understand the post then i guess there is a chance of trouble being caused.

the site admin didn't seem to mind although credit to erm for eventually removing the post.

so the end result was that i got banned from the forum :lol:

ban has been lifted but that only means i can view the forum if i wish to as i'm not a member so i won't be posting.

Isn't this called "revenge"...wasn't it Derek and Robbie you slagged off on this forum not so long ago and couldn't even apologise? Maybe i'm wrong. Its been known to happen. From time to time. ;)

nope cuz i did the banning not stephen.........

it was to stop him continually posting as it was gettin a bit repetitive deleting every post he made after he had been asked to stop a few times and take any disagreement to pm or email as there is no flaming forum
