Take them both for a test drive if you can. The question of which is better is highly subjective. I'd say that if you can afford it (fuel, insurance etc) then get the SE.

Get the 2.0SE litre without a doubt, as you get all options included and your safe in the knowledge their isn't (an unmodded) higher spec version of your car driving round somewhere

Mine is the Black / Silver special edition 1.6, comes with full leather, sports pack(alu sills, dials, gearknob etc) but NOT alloys, however if you get a dumb dealer that says it does they'll ring you up and fit alloys free like they did with mine!
I'd go on the 1.6 as most of my travel isn't long distance and also insurance worked out less for me. Petrol consumption fares slightly better too but just go for what you want you'll love it either way.

I used to mock people with 1.6 CC’s, but it’s actually a really good engine. If you compare the 1.6 with the new sports KA and 1.6 beetle cab. Then the CC 1.6 beats both cars to 60 mph by about 2 seconds. It’s also about 10mph faster top end. On top of all this it’s also the most economical car. But I would still go for a 2.0L CC for the exact reason that Greenday suggests. Over the 1.6 Its about 2 seconds quicker to 60mph and is 5mph faster top end, but you will be putting 15 percent more fuel in it.

To see what sort of price you should look for try this link. http://www.peugeot206cc.co.uk/phpBB2/vi ... php?t=4683

Refering to the link- I found JAMJAR.COM are more that 1000 pound cheaper than list, but others have had better deals. If I was buying now I would go to the Peugeot dealerships and see what they can offer. If they came back with poor deals then I would use the JAMJAR website as proof of what sort of deals are about and see if they can beat it.
