OK, tomorrow I'm replacing the speakers in my CC. How have people put new tweeters in the car? The existing ones are tiny and my new ones definitely won't fit in there instead.

Any ideas would be useful!

Cheers!

Nah, you don't stick 'em over the existing grille. You actually cut a hole straight through the grille ;)

Well I looked at doing that but my new tweeters are quite deep and won't fit. There's not much room in there where the old tweeter is and they would just look daft if I did that.

I think the tweeters on the Kenwoods are quite a bit smaller than mine. I really have tried anyway possible and the depth of my tweeters is just too big to fit in properly.

I've gone for screwing & gluing them onto the existing grill which doesn't look too bad (photos on their way) but I'm not 100% happy yet.

The sound is awesome though, especially as I've also dynamtted the doors to try & deaden the sound a bit.
