Petrol usage

When we get our cc it will be a 1.6 what is the fuel consumption just driving around town would it need more than 20 quid a week it may sound a silly question but we only have a 1.1 fiat punto at the mo.

Depends how far you want to go

I've had mine about 10 days now and first tank averaged out at 40.3 which was mostly open roads and some city. Second tank which is work and back into town and what have you 36.7. Lowest I've had the guage is 35.3.

Car is same spec as yours 1.6s.

20 quid does me about 200 miles

Hi Lual,
I used to have a 1.1 Punto too - ever so pleased i no longer do.
Welcome to CC fun.
Don't know about the 1.6, mines 2.0, but don't notice that much of a change cos' I do far more miles now (heaps more enjoyable too!!!)
Fill the tank (almost) = Â£32 & this lasts me approx 300 miles, depending on type of journeys etc.

around town i can see my petrol needle move after 5 minutes in the car
