Did anyone see BBC2 last night (Right Car Wrong Car)
Woman featured had about £9k budget for a new car. The team found her 3 new cars to choose from: Smart Car convertible, Nissan Micra (?) and a gorgeous green "CC" (imported)

Needless to say she chose the "CC" as the best one and then went on to negotiate a deal (I think she eventually got the dealer to agree to about £12k (with part ex)

Then she had to choose from 3 used cars (BMW Z3, MX5, MG) and she chose the MG.

The final choice was then between the "CC" and the MG - silly woman chose the MG.

There's just no accounting for taste!

Yep I saw that. She went for the MG as it had more power, but the CC was only a 1.6 so didn't have much chance!

Who cares about power - when you're driving a "CC" you want to drive slowly to give everyone a chance to have a good look at how lovely she is!

Well, how lovely the car is Flo, not the bird off the programme. She was a proper ugly common slapper (even after 18 pints!)

CB, I'd be careful......I saw the program as well, and she was so rough, I bet she'd kick the cr@p out of you for calling her a "proper ugly common slapper" ....but you're right though....she was!

Never seen it, but these are 2 different type of cars.
I like the MG also, but for now i've more possibilities with the CC.
The MG is nice as a second car. Looks nice i think and it's got more power... And isn't the MG more expensive? I know it's over here for sure! But maybe that's different in the UK for it's a domestic car there. It starts here at 27.630EUR til 34.240EUR.
And checking that at their website i see that only the top model has more power... So i'll take that back!
