Don't worry Paul. I usually look bemused! ;-)

I've just had a very scary thought! Have you ever tried to go go-kart racing as a club? The thought of Erm and Paul (and, well, pretty much everyone else really) all racing each other in identical karts could be really funny (and scary!). I'm sure some scores could be settled (and new ones made!). Cheers

Jason

PS No Paul, you can't try and fit the Supra's Turbos to the kart!

Can i bring my real gun? Karting would be cool too...you know theres an indoor karting track right next door to the Outlet Centre in Swindon? Also - for a BIG meet, the kart track at the old airfield in Wroughton is quality!! Only 5 mins from J16 M4.... ;)

Daytona karting in West London has an elevated section. When I was there they were using the two tracks joined together (GP circuit) ......

If we go for karting we need to decide if we want indoor or outdoor, evening or weekend and the format. Usually you have a series of heats, with between 4 and 6 karts per heat and a final, in total you get about 6 - 5 lap races. Alternatively there can be one big race starting with a practice session and then the race of between 40 mins and 6 hours depending on how much you want to pay, these usually are only available on the outdoor circuits and require a min of 15 people.

Ouu didn't realise it was so in depth!
So what is it to be then peeps! I would prefer to race 6 lots of 5 laps rather than a full on 6 hour race.

Sorry I didnt really make that clear.
We can choose the race length of 40mins, 1hr, 2hrs or 6hrs.
Obviously the various circuits have differing race lengths so this is just a guide,
and the longer races are usually for a team of drivers. I wasnt suggesting the full 6 hours, just saying the option is there.
