Don't know if this helps anyone, but when driving down bumpy country roads, I started getting a 'squeaky' kind of noise (can't think of better way to describe it) from the rear of the CC. Initially I thought it was a suspension problem, so tried lubricating all the moving parts, but no success. I then realised that the noise was coming from inside the boot, so applied the infamous rubber lubricant (availible from Halfords, in the bright yellow can) to the boot seal and bump stops. Peace at last! I think it's about time Peugeot started giving the ruuber lubricant away, it would save them a fortune in mechanics wages every time a CC goes in with a squeak from some place or the other.

Hope this helps.

Well done,
I had a slight knocking sound over harsh bumps, which I always put down to the sub'n'stuff in my boot. I put some washng up liquid round the places you suggested and the sound has gone.

Its always good engineering to try the simple thing first ;)
