:D :D

OOOOooooOOOO!

I've just reserved my black SE with black leather .... and to say I'm chuffed doesn't even begin to cover it! Actually, it hasn't sunk in yet but I'm hoping by tomorrow I'll be out of shock....(well I have been hankering after one for a year now.....!)

Test drove one today through a dealership - perfect weather for it ... not much of a deal going on there so went off and bought it through Motorpoint and should have it in 3 or so weeks....

I know I'll be obsessed with the paintwork but I just couldn't get excited about any other colour.

Not sure how I'm going to wait for it - especially if it's sunny! Ah well, at least I've got my brochure to drool over in the meantime....

Can I ask what you paid? I just bought one through a UK dealer, he reckoned the profit for dealers was only £700. Like you say not much in the way of bargaining going on and lots of cheap imports but I'm getting mine in 6 days though... Couldn't see any SE's with leather on Motorpoint tho. GTCCAR.CO.UK have a few but they all seem to be the S model.

:hyper: Couldn't bleedin sleep last night for mad CC dreams!

Hello Everyone! Actually, I do kind of feel like I know you all already... been a bit of a sad lurker in the background for a wee while reading all your posts but feeling a bit left out! ( ) Not any more now I'm (nearly) an owner! Yeehaa!!!

Dave - Motorpoint were rather good in that they rang me when they had an inkling of stock coming in - I don't think that this consignment has gone on the website yet. My SE with leather cost me £14250 on the road. (Need to think about paying for the 3rd year warranty on top though.....)

The dealer was meant to be ringing me back today re their best deal and he hasn't even bothered. Wanted to tell him my news as well! Damn. (Jeez, I'm not normally this hardfaced but well, when it comes to hard cash.....I am SCOTTISH!)

I'll be posting a pic asap! Dave - 5 days to go and counting!!

Ta Ta For Now!

D'oh that's very good. I paid £17200 for a UK one OTR :( Then again though they have to deal with my trade-in (Vectra 2.5CDX) and the CC is in Friday.

Still happy tho, put it on the mortgage and it's another £50 a month, once I've cancelled the gym membership I'll be up £6 a month
