Maybe he's going in a Herc that's painted in "UN colours", i.e. white so it can easily be shot down :yikes:

I always thought during the Bosnia stuff that given a free choice I'd prefer to be in an olive tank and have a green beret, rather than a white tank and a blue beret. "Shoot me -- I'm over here"

Pretty sure that most of them will still stand to attention when required

Good pun, but not as good as the one from work: a girl was arranging a young farmers meeting that was having a talk on family planning. However the guy cancelled at the last minute- but she used the words "he pulled out at the last minute" in her email :rotfl:

Thanks for the sympathy gang....i'm feeling a little better every day (even managed to eat last night!)

The "Big White Bird" Greg T is on about is an RAF Tristar (L10-11)

I am living through my nightmare at the moment....since 1996 I have been at the "sharp end" of most of the UKs wars and conflicts. My all time fear was to be stuck in a scumhole like Brize Norton for a major war...I am frantically trying to work my ticket to join my mates and get a tan.

I can always manage to stand to attention ladies - I am very well trained ;)
