If you see a crazy bloke waving and flashing his lights at you when you're out in your CC and can't understand why because he's driving a Rover 25, don't worry its just me. Can't get it out of my system yet.

I've been waving and smiling and flashing my headlights at loads of CC's down here in Wiltshire/Dorset since I moved down here a couple of months ago, and all I've got is grumpy looks and certain hand signals!! - Is it me??? Or are they all grumpy CC drivers down this neck of the woods? I see at least 4 CC's every morning on my drive to work, and no-one has even acknowledged me let alone smiled or waved back at me!! Maybe I should buy myself a Nissan Micra and a travel rug!
If I'm not here I'm in Symi.....where the sun is always shining.....

I think it's great when people do that, my first car was a black and white mini which I painted up to look like a cow..... (don't ask why because I couldnt tell you!). I'd had it a day or so and noticed how friendly other mini drivers were, always flashing and waving and my friends started flashing to mini's too....even though they didn't have one, which kind of defeats the object.
Anyway do many cc owners flash regularly? ;)

I used to think the vast majority of Cc drivers were miserable gits cus I used to flash my lights all the time and never get an acknowledgement. However, because of the "joys" of the multiplex wiring system in the CC in can take anything in the region of 3 hours to a fortnight for the lights to actually work after you have pulled the light stalk towards you. This is a Cc "quirk" you learn to live with. Which probably means other drivers were flashing their lights at me but by the time they came on I was in the next county. I suggest sticking to waving madly like a demented idiot!

Me and the girlfriend both waved like mad at a cc we passed last Sunday. Just got blank looks from the 2 old gits inside though.

I don't seem to be able to flash properly with the headlights... (girl thing??)

Nevertheless when I wave and smile I always get the other person to wave back (some of them do look a bit confused- but most smile)

Maybe its the single female thing?
Yes, I'm a girl!
