A CC on a farm? a bit of a weird combination, surely it'll be dirty again the same day you wash it?

Yes my CC will get filthy the minute I wash it- problem with living on a farm and surrounded by farms that have been muck spreading.

Failed to wash it this weekend as the queue at the car wash was huge. Plus I froze my hands washing out a trailer and didn't fancy doing the car

Well if no one used them then they wouldn't exist! :P

Besides if you saw how dirty my cc is you would understand (avatar much cleaner than it actually is) ;)

Well, it depends...i put my last car through a car wash once..... and one of the expensive ones... where they wash it down iwth a jet wash first.. then put it through, so I think that the brushes wont have so much dirt on them that will scratch... that and i was changing cars soon ...

but a 206cc in a car wash
does it not leak ?????

Put my cc through the car wash yesterday - i must admit i was absolutely bricking it and kept running my hands over the centre roof seal and where the window meets the seal to check for leaks, but it was fine.

I normally do my cars by hand, but like to send em thru a mechanical wash twice a year to get all the plastered on crap off, and clean under the body, etc. (except the company mondeo of course, i aint putting the effort into washint THAT by hand!

Failing that there is quite a nice place at the top of the elms road in Leigh on Sea where i take my cars occasionally that does a good 'hand job' ;) (although they never shut the passenger door properly last time when they wiped the sill down
