Door pins

Fitted 'em today. Used a hacksaw to cut through the OEM ones (just the plastic) and then took 1cm off the top of the rod so I could lower them a bit.

i got them pins aswell you need one of the star shaped screwdrivers(dont know what their called)to start the job .

I have a nice set of Torx drivers ;), and was thinking of getting some of those door pins. But I'm not too keen if it involves hacking the original ones about with a hacksaw. :(

Anyone else fitted them? Did you go for the ordinary ones or the flashing LED ones?

they are black plastic pins on top of the door (inside) that lock/unlock the doors (or at least show whether the car is locked/unlocked).

these guys are talking about the groovy aluminium replacements you can get
