Hi all

Well here goes......

I went up to Newcastle for New Years Eve, good night out, and stayed at a friends.

Unfortunatly I had no where to sleep so I decided to try to get my sofa bed into the boot of my CC

Well with the help of a hack saw and a few other tools I managed it. (had to climb on top and jump up and down, to force it in, took ages) :D

Unfortunatly the two brackets, where the boot cover clips into when you want to put the roof down, have snapped

I have tried screwing them back in but they are buggered.

The funny part to this was that when I got to Newcastle there was a double bed waiting for me.

So some advice to you all, dont try forcing a double sofa bed into the boot of your CC.

Regards

lol no I'm not kidding

One of the lads at work is going to rebore the hole (ooeerrr) and fit larger screws, so that should do the trick.
