The car's going back to the zoo tomorrow to get the following things sorted:
1. Engine vibration/moan at 2900 revs (already seen comments about the plastic engine cover, will let you know what they do)
2. Boot squeaks on left side when open - not sure if something's rubbing
3. Plastic battery cover doesn't fit properly & is lose. Not sure what the cause of this is, i think maybe the bottom of the battery holder is warped slightly
4. Tell the BSI to not look for the Peugeot radio - I've had my Kenwood in for a few weeks now with no problems, but would like to get this done for peace of mind.
5. To ask them if there could be any fault with the petrol filling bit - I have real problems filling up; the pump clicks off as soon as i squeeze the handle. I end up having to pull handle slightly which takes ages to fill up. VERY frustrating!
6. And the best of all - my CC doesn't have a passenger door sill! How the hell did they forget to put that on?!?!

Very likely to be the pump itself rather than the neck - although the 206 neck is pretty poor. Try a different pump &/or a different garage to compare them.5. Well they fixed this but i stupidly forgot to ask them how! Will call them tomorrow morning & ask, sorry guys!1. Engine vibration/moan at 2900 revs (already seen comments about the plastic engine cover, will let you know what they do)
Fixed by lubrication2. Boot squeaks on left side when open - not sure if something's rubbing
Right, first annoyance - apparently they checked two other cars and found the same thing. They said that it's safe and not going to come off but could screw it on if I asked them to. I'm sure this isn't right - do any of you guys have loose battery tops?3. Plastic battery cover doesn't fit properly & is lose. Not sure what the cause of this is, i think maybe the bottom of the battery holder is warped slightly
They would have to charge me labour time for doing this as it's not covered by warranty. So I told them to stuff it. The monkey said that it's not worth being done as it will do no harm leaving it as it is.4. Tell the BSI to not look for the Peugeot radio - I've had my Kenwood in for a few weeks now with no problems, but would like to get this done for peace of mind.
"That's the way it is". Cheers.5. To ask them if there could be any fault with the petrol filling bit - I have real problems filling up; the pump clicks off as soon as i squeeze the handle. I end up having to pull handle slightly which takes ages to fill up. VERY frustrating!
They're goig to order me a sill and let me kow when the part is available.6. And the best of all - my CC doesn't have a passenger door sill! How the hell did they forget to put that on?!?!
Not a totally successful visit, but it cuold be worse!
