Not here!
Can get 1 adult in the back if either your front seat passenger (or you) have their seat well forward, or the backseat passanger puts his legs over the back seats

Fully legal, with seat belts! :)

I suggest you shop around.. read some of the posts on importing a CC for the pros and cons, but that will be the cheapest way to pick up an new CC for less than UK dealer price. Otherwise, keep your eye on Autotrader, ExM and car auctions I guess

Depends how you define cheap. I'm 21 (was 20 when i took the insurance), and my premium was around £2000 for Fully Comprehensive cover from Tesco (2.0 SE CC)... When I was 17, my insurance Third Party Fire and Theft on an old Fiat Uno 60 was about £700, so I dunno if anyone will insure you on a CC for a reasonable price! Erm is probably the man to ask around here :)
if some1 could send me a picture of them in the back seat or something it would be greatly appreciated..
Can't do that one for you I'm afraid! Anyone else??
ok thats it i think, thanx alot

hey thanx to all who answerd and a big thanx goes out to Craig Atkins for answering all my questions.

as for getting a 206cc for my first car seems pretty unlikely seeing as ive been saving for a couple of years and have amounted a total of: £1347.37 if i can get a cc for that i will be very shocked.

thanx alot agaoin guys

p.s. if any1 has a phone of them or a few people in the back of the cc cod i please see it to see how cramped it is

also does the 1.6's back seat space differ from the 2.0's?

Hi Chris,

well your questions have been well answered, my mother insisted she rode in the back of my CC once with seat belt on and she's 72 but it is tight there, so seats well forward as has been mentioned.

I noticed a while ago importers selling new CC's in Autotrader and Exchange & Mart for around 14/14.5k or alternatively, you should be able to pick up a good Y reg example for around 12K, if you do buy an early second hand example, just be aware there are lemons out there like Robs old car.

Robbie. :D

Err... no you won't get a CC for £1300 quid! The leather interior upgrade is 960 quid alone, and £1300 won't even pay your insurance.

Also note that this is NOT a cheap car to keep running - it's not very economic, and replaceables (tyres etc) are not cheap. For your first car get a second hand diesel 106 or something. Cheap to run, cheap to insure, cheap to maintain.

As for imports, there's a place in Bradford that do CC SEs, full leather UK spec for £14k, but they're a miserable bunch and not very helpful. I got mine from a main Pug dealer - exactly the same car brand new for £14170 because they had a £3k off deal at the time.

My 4yr old neice fits fine in the back. I have had 4 people in my CC before for a few miles but it wasn't very comfortable in the back. This is basically a 2 seater with a bit of storage space in the back!

yeah i've had 3 in the back before as well....... but was with the roof down and they were sorta standing up holding on the hoops for their lives

and yeah the money u;ve saved up wont cover the insurance on a 17 year old on a CC..... u'll need at least double that if not triple it :(

I was 19 when i got mine. I ordered it in Mar02 passed my driving test in Apr02 and picked it up in May02.

Cheepest quote i found for a 19yo male holding a licence for 1 month was £3,800 with elephant (i looked everywhere)

In the end it was put in my gf name, she had held her licence for 1 year, no no claims, pass plus. and it cost me about £1,500. It's gonna cost me about £1,300 when it renews.
