Ali Hoops arrived from Derek at 6.15am on xmas eve, fitted in car by 9

Just a quick post to say how pleased I am with them, and derek for being such a top fella.

All u lot still waiting on yours, its worth the wait, and easy to fit or wot

I made the mistake of asking a monkey at the pug dealer, been easier to take the engine out the way he was going on.All u need to do is lift the top of the back seat off its holding clips, fold forward and there are the bolts, right in front of u,if u take more then 5 mins on this id never pick up a spanner again if i was u.

So now,I need some ideas of what to do next, nothing to fancy,so far hav

Ali hoops
Phone kit
Carpet matts
Pearled wheels
Windstop
K&N air filter

Am thinking of Cargo nets, stop the shopping flying about, anybody got these.

Any ideas gratfully listened to.

no problem :D fitting is easy ..........

gently push back seat panel upwards and it should come free from the 2 clips/brackets.

pull it foward to give enough space to work in.

loosen the 2 nuts from each hoop and then lift the old hoop out.

put the new hoop in it's place and secure with the nuts.

put the seat panel back in position.

hey presto - new hoops :D

p.s. remember and put roof down before starting job :)

p.p.s. the hoops i supplied from germany were on occasions a little stiff to fit in the holes. if this happened then all you had to do was line up the two prongs over the holes and carefully use a hammer or similar, ensure the hoop is protected with something like a thick towel and gently knock into place then tighten the bolts. i haven't heard anyone mention this with these hoops so they are possibly a more exact fit.

Have the funds arrived from my account yet, Derek? They've definitely left mine on 31 Dec (though experience tells me that's no indicator of anything...)
